Chromene is considered a fused pyran ring with benzene ring, which found in many plants and part of important compounds such as anthocyanidins, anthocyanins, catechins, flavanones. These are included under the headings "flavonoids" "iso-flavonoids." well known bioactive molecules wide medicinal uses. According to these pharmacokinetic characteristics, researchers giving more attention this type compound its derivatives. Many chromene derivatives have been synthesized study their biological effects for treatment diseases. Furthermore, researcher displayed interest finding new methods synthesizing depend on utilizing catalyst increase yield reaction or reduce time reaction. On other hand, were by using reactant substrate. This review will present most recent synthesis an examination activity.
